Group Experiences in Clearwater

Visit Clearwater Marine Aquarium and learn about marine animals that have been rescued there. The aquarium is home to Hope, the dolphin who appeared as herself in the movie *Dolphin Tale 2*. During your visit, see Hope and learn about the aquarium’s work in rehabilitating marine animals. View other animals at the aquarium, including sharks, otters, rays, eels, sea turtles, and pelicans. The focus is on animal care and giving visitors the chance to learn about marine life and conservation. The aquarium was also home to Winter, a dolphin who received a prosthetic tail after losing her tail in a crab trap line. Winter lived at the aquarium until she passed away in 2021. The aquarium has recently welcomed 3 harbor seals, Scallop, Pharaoh, and Ocean, who live in a new habitat for pinnipeds. Harbor seals face threats such as pollution, habitat loss, and reduced food sources. Through its rescue and care programs, the aquarium works to protect marine animals and raise awareness.
