About This Experience
Lascaux II is the first replica of the original cave, which was closed to the public in 1940. It is located about 50 m from the original site. During a guided tour, you’ll visit two reproduced areas, the Hall of the Bulls and the Axial Diverticulum. The tour explains how the cave was discovered and provides background on the artwork.
